暑假里我到舅婆家玩，有一天我和小叔叔在一起玩耍，看见舅公在喝冰红茶，心里很想喝，又不好意思说。
不一会儿，有人叫舅公，舅公放下冰红茶就出去了，小叔叔叫我和他一起去河边钓鱼，我心里很想喝冰红茶，就说"我很累，不想去。"小叔叔就自己去了。我看着那瓶冰红茶，直流口水，忍不住拿起冰红茶一下子就喝完了，我心里想舅公回来看到没有了冰红茶，一定会骂我，怎么办呢？我想了好长时间，有办法了，我把开水倒入瓶里在加入一点酱油，不是跟冰红茶一样的吗？以为舅公不知道我偷喝了冰红茶，等我做完了这些，舅公回来了。

It was 1st January, the first day of the year and a holiday for me. What luck! I started by thinking of getting the bank work out of the way. The bank person, an elderly gentleman with a white beard, was, as usual, curt to my polite “Happy New Year.” He nodded and I sat in front of him.

I vowed to be more empathetic and friendly with people who help me with my work and be thankful that they are there for me.

On a typical day I'm up with my kids, playing with them,tending to them, teaching them. Why do I do it? Because I love them, I want them to have our values, I want to teach them and I want to experience what it's like to be a mom. I could choose to go back to a job outside of the home and earn a fairly good income, but I choose to stay home because it just feels like the right thing to do … for me.I realize that this isn't a luxury a lot of people have despite wanting it and believe me when I say I am grateful for being able to stay at home with my kids.

just as the old saying:“well began is the half of the success.”so i decide that i should be at work while the others are still relaxing,and then,at the beginning,i'm quicker than the others and of course i will get better result than the others.

帖完春联，接下来我们开始做馒头。我们把白白的面粉、黄黄的酵母、泡打粉、糖、盐、温水和在一起，成了一个面团。放在被窝里发酵，发酵好后拿出就可以做馒头了。因为今年是龙年，我想做个龙样子的馒头，抓一块面团卷成了一条龙的形状，又做两个龙耳朵给安上，拿芝麻做龙眼睛，一条龙出现在我们眼前。我还做了几个小白兔馒头和山羊馒头。我们把馒头放入蒸笼中蒸15分钟。出锅了，热气腾腾的馒头发的很大，再一看我的龙馒头已经分不出角还是身体，都粘一块了。我把馒头涂上甜甜的蜂蜜。呀！自己做的馒头真好吃。
到了傍晚，我们开始吃年夜饭了。奶奶准备了一桌的美味佳肴，十分丰盛。年夜饭必不可少的就是鱼和肉圆，鱼象征着年年有余，肉圆象征着团团圆圆。饭桌上，大家举杯欢庆，互相祝福：大人们祝小孩快乐成长，学习进步；小孩祝福大人们身体健康
